a Master's degree in Public Law (major in tax law) from the University of Paris-Sorbonne. He holds a doctorate in political science.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Admitted to the Paris Bar in June 2015, he is an expert in customs and tax law, as well as in transport law.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">With a sound experience in the drafting and negotiation of laws and regulations in Europe, Africa and South-East Asia, as well as in the negotiation of European directives and regulations, he advises a Barrister (Bar of England &amp; Wales) and an Avocat \u00e0 la Cour (Paris). \n\nCharles is advising his clients in financial services law and regulation (investment law), UK and EU. He also deals with a wide range of company law and commercial law matters.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Charles is additionally a Chartered Arbitrator and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). He is on several arbitration panels and databases (such as the London Metal Exchange, the Minor Metals Trade Association, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the ICC and the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration). He has extensive experience of arbitrating commercial disputes, often with an international dimension, as a sole arbitrator and as a member of a tribunal.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Charles is a trained mediator and has experience of mediating a wide range of civil and commercial disputes.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Charles is a graduate of Oxford University (PPE).
